Introduction:
Hi everyone! How are you and your ponds doing? Up here in Northern Ohio, our pond is probably the best that it has ever been. My wife does a great job on it! I hope your experiences are going well also.

Thanks For The New Pond Pictures:
I'd like to thank Pam from Illinois and Stacey from California for the most recent pond pictures I have posted on Backyard-Pond-Guide. Ladies, your ponds look great! Keep up the good work and enjoy your ponds.

Pond Keg:
Some of you might be interested in having a small pond keg. My mom-in-law has one and she just loves it. She has pond plants and fish in hers. Below is a picture of it.

Message Board Again:
I'm not going to give up. I might be trying to put up another message board again in the near future. If I do, I hope all of you can help contribute to it. It can be a great source of information for everyone. Be on the lookout for it. I'll let you know when I get it up and running.

Little Red Worms:
I received a question from Brenda this past week about little red worms that she found in her pond filter media, she was kind of alarmed by them. Well I did a little research about them and as it turns out they are quite normal and your fish will love them. They are simply blood worms. There is nothing wrong with your filter or pond water. Some people actually freeze them and sell them to fish owners. Brenda, thanks for the question!

Fish Food Ideas:
Fish love Cheerios or even a generic brand of them. I would imagine they are very nutritional for them also. They also like frozen peas and small pieces of watermelon. Just some food for thought.

Keep It Natural:
Max from Washington called me this past Friday. We had a great conversation. One of things we discussed was the importance of keeping your pond all natural. You don't need any chemicals in your pond. Your pond will flourish all by itself, just give it a chance. Thanks for the call Max!

And Finally:
I hope you have good luck with your pond and if there's any questions you might have, feel free to ask. Till next time... Bob
